We take great pride in our talented surf instructors.
We value safety at all times, therefore our instructors are all first aid and CPR certified. Also, our instructors are individuals with strong surfing skills and have excellent ocean knowledge. Furthermore they all have been trained with Surf Diva's surfing school recognized teaching methods for structured and efficient learning. Australian Surf Academy promotes, teaches, and supports surfing to teens of all ages and abilities. We believe that through kindness, patience, and most of all fun, a child has the greatest opportunity to be successful.

	Ashley S. Nickname: Shoey Places you have traveled for surfing? Fiji, Hawaii, Vanuatu, and Australia! How did you get into surfing? I was born into it! I grew up on the beaches of Australia with my surfy family in a surf cultured town. What is your favorite part about teaching people how to surf? Watching people experience their first "wipe out" and coming out of it with a massive smile, feeling so alive! Being in the ocean! Its the most rewarding job! What are some of your other hobbies/interests? Anything to do with the ocean! Diving and fishing! Slack lining and jumping on an Indo board from time to time. I also love dogs! Snowboarding, bungy jumping, music, and good food!
	Toby Nickname: Tobes Places you have traveled for surfing? Around Australia. How did you get into surfing? Born into it, both my father and brother surf. What is your favorite part about teaching people how to surf? Seeing their faces after the first time standing up and surfing a wave. What are some of your other hobbies/interests? Surfing, free diving, golf, and fishing.
	Sunny Places you have traveled for surfing? I am from Australia, but I have surfed every continent-at least a couple of times. How did you get into surfing? My dad took me to the beach when I was three years old. I didn't have a lot of choice! What is your favorite part about teaching people how to surf? Surfing has given me so much in my life and it's great to pass this on to others! What are some of your other hobbies/interests? I love anything involving the ocean, kite boarding, snow boarding, and training.
	Josh Nickname: Joshman Places you have traveled for surfing? Mexico, Africa, Indo, Hawaii, Tahiti, France, Spain, Argentina, Protugal, Brasil, America, Australia, Philippines, Maldives, and Japan. How did you get into surfing? I live in Australia, it's required. It's our life style and culture. What is your favorite part about teaching people how to surf? Sharing the stoke of the beginners catching a wave. What are some of your other hobbies/interests? Spear fishing, snowboarding, fixing old cars, making stuff, (ie:) spearguns, etc.
